The owner of a dirt bike shop has started the process of selling his business, The Shop Lights, online.
He plans to open the shop in April, just three months after the company shut down.
The Shop Lights closed down in October.
Owner, Steve Wiesenthal, says he was unable to keep the business open for the long-term.
He has been in debt and lost his job.
He also is trying to start a new business.
He says the idea was to create a “community of people who love bikes.”
The owners of the shop said they wanted to offer a more affordable option for people who can’t afford a custom paint job or a paint job with an actual bike.
The shop sells custom paint jobs, as well as parts and accessories for bikes that do not come with the traditional shop.
The shop lights offers customers a choice of paint colors, accessories, or wheels.
Wiesens is trying, and has found success, selling parts and bikes for a limited number of bikes, which he said is about two a week.
