Samsung’s new Shop app is now available to use with the Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S7 Edge, the company announced today.
Samsung’s first big push into mobile apps was with the launch of the Galaxy Tab S and Tab S Edge last year, but it wasn’t until recently that the company began to roll out the Samsung Shop mobile app to the S6, S7, and S7 edge.
The new Samsung app brings a number of new features to the table, including an ability to purchase from Samsung’s store directly from the device, and Samsung Pay support, among other things.
In addition to Samsung’s online store, Samsung has also begun selling Samsung-branded products at its retail stores.
The Samsung Shop Mobile app will be available to download today, and users can download it through the Galaxy Store on their phone’s Settings app.
Users can also download the Samsung app directly from Samsung.com/Shop.
Samsung is also working to roll this out to other Samsung devices, with an app coming soon to the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Tab, and Galaxy Tab Pro.
The Samsung Shop will also work with the S7 and S6 edge, and will include a wide range of new Samsung services including Samsung Pay, Samsung Health, Samsung Music, Samsung Pay Pay, and more.
It’s worth noting that Samsung Pay will only work with credit cards, which may prove tricky if you’re planning on paying for something with Samsung Pay on a credit card.
The company also recently rolled out Samsung Pay in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom.
