The Gem Shop website has gone offline after it was set up to sell products online.
The company has been selling a number of products from the retailer’s range of hair care products online but had not been able to find a way to sell them in-store.
The Gem Shop had been set up by an Australian woman who is now the CEO of a different company in the UK, but the website has now been taken offline.

The Gem Store is part of a wider online beauty retailer called ShopLily that was set-up in May 2017.
The website allows customers to buy items like hair care, beauty supplies, cosmetics, accessories and skincare products and has over 3,000 products, including skincares, hair and nail care, makeup and skintone products.
It has been used as a way of selling products through the online marketplace, but customers have struggled to find any products to buy.
ShopLily said: “ShopLileys products are available in-house at a variety of brands and prices, with the bulk of our products coming from brands that we have personally partnered with.”
We have made a number from our own products as well as collaborating with brands to bring products to their store.

The site has been open since January, but it is not clear how many customers have used the service.
A spokesperson for the company said: ‘We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this and are working to provide customers with an online shopping experience as soon as possible.’
