In a lot of ways, the process of creating homemade cake is a lot like baking from scratch.
It’s the hardest part.
The recipe and time spent in the kitchen make baking the best of all.
So, how do you get started?
First, get your ingredients ready.
In this case, the ingredients you need are: 2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of baking powder.
Next, set your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Bake the cake in the oven for about 45 minutes, or until it’s done baking.
After 45 minutes has passed, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool.
After the cake cools, you can use the parchment paper to finish filling the rest of the cake.
Let the cake set for a few hours in the refrigerator.
When you’re ready to bake, you’ll need to combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
Add the sugar and vanilla extract and stir to combine.
Add a pinch more baking powder and mix well.
Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the refrigerator and let the cake stand at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Then, stir the cake into the batter.
When you’re finished, use a knife or spatula to smooth out the batter, and spread the cake onto the parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake the cake for about 15 minutes.
When it’s finished, remove from oven and cool completely.
It should be about 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
When cooled, it will be a deep golden brown.
When cool, the cake should look like this: Now, you need to assemble the cake and decorate it.
Make sure you have the right ingredients.
If you don’t have these, you’re going to need to make the recipe yourself.
In my case, I used 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.
Then I added a pinch baking powder, 1 1/3 cups of flour, and 1 teaspoon baking powder of the vanilla extract.
When the cake is ready, let it rest for a minute or two.
You’re going a lot easier if you use your hands, so put the cake on a cake stand, and set it on a cookie sheet to cool.
After the cake has cooled, you may use a pastry brush to brush some icing over the cake as you wait for the cake to set.
Now you can add the icing to the cake!
Mix all of the icing ingredients in a small bowl and then place the cake back into the refrigerator until it is completely cool.
It’ll keep for about 24 hours.
After 24 hours, you have to cut and slice the cake using a pizza cutter.
Place the slices on a parchment lined cookie sheet and spread out evenly.
Bake for about 10 minutes until they’re golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes longer than when you started.
If they look like they’re getting more crispy, turn the oven down to 200 degrees Fahrenheit for about another 5 minutes.
You can flip them a few times to brown them a little more.
When the cakes are done, you should have a gorgeous cake that’s just right for your dessert table.
